Job Description

  • Plans, designs, executes/supervises and administers projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, authority requirements, zoning and applicable codes and design and construction specifications.
  • Reviews engineering details as and when required for the execution of works.
  • Ensure that the contractor delivers the design engineer's design intent and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems.
  • Addresses modifications desired by the Client in coordination with the Design Engineer.
  • Assists the Project Lead in reviewing and selecting materials and equipment that are in compliance with approved material submittals.                
  • Support the project lead in Issuing engineering correspondences.
  • Highlight any violations of construction/engineering-related issues on-site through the issuance of NCRS.
  • Attend progress review and coordination meetings to assist the Project Lead in resolving site issues, such as discrepancies in drawings.                                                              
  • Participate in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project handover.
  • Support RE to ensure projects run smoothly by providing expert knowledge and advice.
  • Liaise with the design engineer on required modifications.
  • Gives daily site reports and highlights issues on-site to the Project Lead.                                        
  • Expedite client approvals if delaying the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (Civil or Structural)
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
