Job Description
Construction Supervision & Quality Control
- Supervise and inspect electromechanical works on-site, including electrical, mechanical, control, and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, NFPA, IEC, and other applicable standards.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, ITPs, and as-built drawings for all electromechanical components.
- Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for key equipment such as pumps, switchgear, control panels, SCADA systems, and ITS devices.
- Identify and report non-conformances, follow up on corrective actions, and ensure resolution prior to system handover.
Coordination & Interface Management
- Liaise with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, Etisalat, DU, and other authorities for inspections, approvals, and NOCs.
- Coordinate with the Contractor's electromechanical team and other discipline engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of systems with civil works.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, verify O&M manuals and spare parts lists, and assist in punch list preparation and final handover of electromechanical systems.
Documentation & Technical Support
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and commissioning activities; prepare progress reports; and provide technical support to resolve problems and optimize cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7-14 years of experience in Relevant projects as Electromechanical engineer
Additional Information
- Mandatorty expereince of 3-5 Years in UAE is essential
- RTA approval or DM approval is preferred
