Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished MEP Construction Lead (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) with 20 years of experience in MEP construction activities for a large-scale semiconductor facility project. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in high-tech industrial projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality execution.

Responsibilities:

Project Execution Leadership:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all MEP construction activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Develop and implement execution plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation measures.
  • Drive decision-making and resolve critical technical and operational issues promptly.

Construction Oversight & Quality Assurance

  • Supervise MEP works to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and semiconductor industry standards.
  • Implement robust quality control processes and conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Quality, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all execution activities adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance and quality of work.
  • Address and resolve any non-conformities or issues identified during execution and commissioning.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for MEP scope with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Continuous Improvement & Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor MEP construction teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide training or guidance to enhance team capabilities.
  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in MEP construction management.
  • Must have worked on multiple semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facility projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale EPC projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in MEP systems design and construction for high-tech facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor facility requirements (cleanroom HVAC, process utilities, electrical distribution).
  • Familiarity in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards for MEP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cleanroom HVAC and critical utility systems.
  • Knowledge of risk management and cost control.
  • Certification in advanced project management or safety standards.
  • Knowledge of international standards (ISO, SEMI, etc.) for MEP systems.
