Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Engineer with 10+ years of experience, specializing in terminal construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all construction activities, fostering a culture of safety excellence, and implementing robust safety protocols to mitigate risks. This role requires expertise in safety management, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment within large-scale terminal projects.
Job Description
· Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans tailored to terminal construction projects.
· Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
· Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
· Monitor construction activities to ensure proactive identification and resolution of safety risks.
· Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
· Ensure that all safety equipment and measures are in place and functioning effectively.
· Lead investigations into safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
· Maintain detailed records of incidents and safety performance metrics.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety measures into project plans.
· Prepare and present regular safety reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.
· Minimum 10+ years of experience in safety engineering for large-scale infrastructure projects.
· At least 5 years of experience in terminal construction projects, including airports, railway terminals, or similar facilities.
