Job Description

**Responsibilities:**

  • Execute comprehensive and systematic inspections of civil engineering works, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and infrastructure projects in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse and interpret contract documents, technical drawings, and detailed specifications to verify strict compliance with project requirements and Dubai standards
  • Conduct rigorous site supervision and perform scheduled inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
  • Monitor contractor activities to enforce adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and project specifications
  • Prepare detailed daily reports documenting work progress, material deliveries, inspection findings, and any deviations from specifications
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve site issues with transparency and accountability
  • Conduct and document site measurements, surveying checks, and verification of pipe alignments, levels, and structural elements
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control procedures on-site to ensure consistent compliance with contractual obligations
  • Prepare and maintain correspondence, inspection records, and documentation related to contract requirements and site specifications
  • Monitor the start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works, maintaining comprehensive records of project milestones and achievements
  • Perform systematic audits to verify conformity with contract documents, approved plans, and contractor submissions
  • Maintain current knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, RTA standards, and local building codes to ensure all work meets required specifications
  • Identify potential risks and safety hazards on-site and communicate concerns to ensure immediate corrective action
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance standards on project sites

Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in civil engineering inspection, roads, and infrastructure projects
  • Minimum 3 years of direct, hands-on experience on projects within the UAE
  • Good experience in NDRC, Micro-tunneling, irrigation, stormwater, sewerage network, manhole, pipejacking
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, quality control methodologies, and safety standards
  • Advanced proficiency with contract documents, technical drawings, and detailed specifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in site measurement, surveying techniques, and related software tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated precision and accuracy
  • Proven organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple concurrent tasks in demanding environments
  • Advanced proficiency in inspection software, digital documentation tools, and project management platforms
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Thorough knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, standards, and building codes
  • Valid UAE driving license required for site accessibility and mobility
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Capacity to perform on-site work in varied weather conditions and challenging environments
  • Rigorous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to maintaining transparent, accurate documentation
  • Strong resilience and adaptability in managing complex, dynamic project environments
  • DM or RTA Approval or equivalent certification (required)
