Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Transportation Engineering Project Manager/Design Coordinator to be based in Phoenix, Arizona to join our growing transit engineering practice.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Transportation Engineering project manager and Design Coordinator is a key position that will report into the US West Region Transit/Rail Engineering Group
- The position includes responsibility for coordination and management of multidisciplinary teams on transportation planning studies, preliminary design studies and final design of transportation infrastructure projects.
- The successful candidate may be asked to serve as an AECOM project manager, deputy project manager and/or design coordinator on selected projects and will coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with others team members.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain
- Experience providing project management and coordination experience on transportation engineering design projects
- Experience designing transit, transportation and bus rapid transit infrastructure
- Experience with design software including InRoads, Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads
- Experience with business development and client relations
- Able to work out of our Phoenix, Arizona office
