Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance, and optimizing our contractual relationships.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage complex contracts throughout their lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and relevant laws and regulations
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners
- Analyze and mitigate contractual risks to protect the company's interests
- Oversee the preparation and review of contract documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address contractual issues and resolve disputes
- Monitor contract performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Implement and maintain contract management systems and processes
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters to senior management and stakeholders
- Stay updated on local and international contract laws and best practices
Qualifications
- Post-graduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in contract management, preferably in the infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of local and international contract laws
- Proven track record in successful contract negotiations and dispute resolution
- Experience in performance monitoring and claims management
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the Qatar business landscape is a plus
