We are hiring for the position of Civil Engineer (Building) for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. This role involves overseeing the construction and supervision of large-scale infrastructure buildings, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing civil works during the construction phase, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. 

Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of civil construction activities, including structural, architectural, and finishing works for large infrastructure buildings. 
  • Ensure that construction works are executed as per approved designs, specifications, and project schedules. 
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards. 
  • Monitor daily site activities and resolve technical or operational issues during construction.
  • Review and interpret civil designs, drawings, and specifications for large infrastructure buildings. 
  • Ensure proper integration of civil works with other disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. 
  • Provide technical guidance on construction methodologies and material selection.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards, such as NBC, IS codes, and other relevant guidelines. 
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards. 
  • Implement sustainable practices in construction to meet green building requirements.
  • Monitor construction quality and ensure that all works meet project specifications and standards. 
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and rectify any deviations. 
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including test reports and compliance checklists.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, test reports, and as-built drawings. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (mandatory). 
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (preferred)

Additional Information

  • Certification in construction management or green building practices (e.g., LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent). 
  • Experience in managing civil works in live environments, such as operational airports or malls. 
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
