Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead – Classified HVAC to lead design and delivery of specialized HVAC systems for high-security and controlled environments, including semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

Job Description

  • Provide technical leadership for HVAC design in classified and controlled environments, ensuring compliance with stringent security and contamination control standards.
  • Develop system concepts for cleanrooms, ATMP facilities, and critical process areas, including airflow control, pressurization, and filtration strategies.
  • Oversee preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, Architecture) to integrate HVAC solutions into overall facility design.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO cleanroom classifications, ASHRAE standards, and client-specific protocols.
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation of HVAC systems for classified environments.
  • Support project planning, cost estimation, and technical evaluations for HVAC packages.
  • Mentor engineering teams and ensure knowledge transfer of best practices in classified HVAC design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in HVAC design for controlled environments, including semiconductor or pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Expertise in cleanroom HVAC design, contamination control, and classified facility requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of ASHRAE, ISO, and international HVAC standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

  • Master’s degree or certifications (LEED, PMP, ASHRAE) is a plus.
  • Experience in semiconductor fabs, ATMP facilities, or defense-related classified projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions desirable
