Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of complex water supply, sewage, and drainage systems for large-scale projects in the region.

  • Develop and oversee the design of wet utility systems, including water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and stormwater management solutions
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency
  • Manage multiple wet utility projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and construction drawings
  • Ensure compliance with local and international water and wastewater regulations
  • Implement sustainable water management practices in project designs
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and technical solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in wet utilities engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in wet utilities engineering, with a focus on water supply, sewage, and drainage systems
  • Advanced knowledge of wet utility system design principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding of local and international water and wastewater regulations
  • Experience in hydraulic modeling and analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with sustainable water management practices
  • Additional certifications in water/wastewater management (preferred)
  • Willingness to work on projects throughout the United Arab Emirates and occasionally travel to project sites
