Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Small Business Outreach Analyst for one of our offices in Sacramento, CA. This role is open to remote work.
SUMMARY:
This role will be responsible for supporting. This role supports the Small Business Program by coordinating compliance activities, technical assistance, and outreach to ensure participation goals are met. It also manages documentation, reporting, and event support for program initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Coordination with SB firms, preparing/compiling Personal Request Form packages (PRF Form, Resume, Duty Statements, collecting payroll validation and/or Purchase Order confirmation to the following SB firms and/or Program Delivery Support Task Leads
- Track and maintain SB solicitation timelines to committed SBs, trigger public SB outreach when solicitation threshold has passed
- Ensures SB program compliance through proactive initiatives, conducts program compliance reviews and provides on-going technical assistance to SB consultants
- Maintain certification records to ensure compliance with Small Business/Disadvantaged Business Enterprises/Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise crediting requirements and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Maintain matrices and electronic databases of small business resources to support alignment and coordination between contracts, invoice, subcontract, resourcing, and SB teams
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Federal SB/DBE and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Gathers statistical SB utilization data and compiles reports as required for appropriate entities
- Perform initial preparation of Small Business Adds/Substitution and Termination requests for SBO and or Standby Letter of Credit Deputy approval
- Ensuring the coordination of PDS SB Program deliverables with managers, the Business Advisory Council, local agencies and the business community as requested
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
HS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven ability to interpret and apply State and Federal program requirements and procedures
- Proven ability multi-task; have solid project management skill sets, problem solving and ability to adapt to changes in priorities and complete tasks or projects with short notice
- Proven ability to make presentations, provide training, maintain, and develop stakeholder relationships
- Must be dependable, have strong analytical and business writing skills and accept a work environment with varying degrees of short notice priorities and new directions
- Deal tactfully with all levels of employees, managers, and the public
- Must be open to cross-train for other positions
- Advanced understanding of a relevant professional discipline
- Highly self-motivated, independent, and customer service focused
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative, productive, and professional working relationships
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of various computer software applications such as MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of standard formats for letters, memorandums, reports, and initiate Excel spreadsheets
