  • Lead the design and commissioning of systems for rail vehicle programs, conducting reviews, providing technical support, and resolving issues related to system integration, testing, and qualification.
  • Coordinate and oversee vehicle qualification testing, First Article Inspections (FAI), and ensure compliance with all safety and performance standards.
  • Develop and execute system commissioning and testing plans for both signaling and rolling stock systems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring proper integration of subsystems, and conducting regular technical meetings.
  • Direct the preparation of engineering budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals to meet the technical and business requirements of complex transit systems projects.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, specifications, and validation reports, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and usability.
  • Lead client and stakeholder relationships, playing a major role in business development, proposal efforts, and technical consulting.
  • Oversee and supervise a team of systems engineers, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers working on signaling, telecom, SCADA, rolling stock systems, and other rail transit technologies.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource and advisor, ensuring adherence to company and client standards, policies, and procedures across multiple projects.
  • Provide guidance in the selection and evaluation of vendors, including reviewing supplier data, conducting shop tests, and managing the procurement process for materials and equipment.
