Job Description
This role will support an integrated, value-based approach to human resources management, aligned to annual and long-term strategic business and HR initiatives in a large organization. She/he will be a strategic partner with the business, to nurture an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
The incumbent will provide a range of HR services to the company and business units, with partnership with Centres of Excellence in HR, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, talent development and people services.
- Provide HR insights and advice to the business on all people related issues and initiatives
- Roll out HR strategies that are aligned with the company’s overall business objectives
- Improve employee experience, engagement & retention through various initiatives
- Drive and support the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions
- Advise and support managers in performance management, employee career development and building of an effective talent pipeline & succession
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits team to regularly review market competitiveness, benefits and reward structures, ensuring equity and competitiveness
- Review HR policies & procedures and workflow processes in line with employment legislation and/or organizational changes to increase efficiency
- Analyse HR key metrics, develop continuous employee feedback mechanisms and use data to develop HR interventions and process improvements
- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution
- Develop positive working relationships with people through strong inter-personal skills.
- Build trust through assisting key stakeholders in solving people related issues successfully
- Adopt a service-oriented mindset and people-centricity in dealing with workforce and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- Degree with at least 5 years of relevant HR Business Partnering experience, having directly worked with Business Leaders
- Proficient in MS Office software such as Excel, PowerPoint and other report generating tools
- A hands-on contributor, with a positive ‘can do’ and customer-focused attitude
- Resilient individual with a drive to succeed, is proactive and able to work independently under minimal supervision
- Mature, professional, self-motivated, a team player and able to multi-task
- Articulate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Level of this role will commensurate with the shortlisted candidate’s experience
