Job Description

AECOM are currently seeking a highly experienced and innovative Associate - Public Health Design Engineer to lead and manage the design and development of public health engineering systems for our projects across the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient, sustainable, and compliant public health engineering solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of public health engineering systems, including water supply, drainage, sanitation, and waste management for a variety of projects.
  • Oversee and manage public health engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate public health engineering systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
  • Champion the incorporation of sustainable practices in public health engineering, including water conservation, greywater recycling, and sustainable waste management systems.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that public health engineering solutions are tailored to meet their specific requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12years of experience in public health engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or principal / Asscoiate role.
