Job Description
AECOM is seeking to hire a Seattle Executive / Business Development to support our exciting projects in the PNW area.
The work includes:
• Serving as the leader of AECOM’s business development activities in a defined major metropolitan or geographic area, in coordination with the Cities Initiative, State executive, regional business line leaders, and market sector leads.
• Being responsible for establishing AECOM as the leading provider of professional technical services across all AECOM business lines in the area, and advance AECOM Strategic Growth Initiatives.
• Executing the overall strategy for growth in a major metropolitan or geographic area.
• Having significant prior business experience in municipal, state, energy/utility or intergovernmental agency sales and/or working with elected officials to establish business and achieve project goals.
• Having extensive knowledge of the business and product offerings to support cross-discipline/business line/region collaboration.
Responsibilities-
Understands the needs of the business, helps develop its strategic direction and identifies initiatives that will allow the business to meet strategic goals
Developing strategy for major opportunities, including selection of teaming partners, win strategy, technical approach and staffing
Coordination with Internal stakeholder (legal, finance, other disciplines)
Relationship management
Staff Leadership, focusing on staff retention and talent acquisition.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 4 years of leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years of leadership
Bachelors in Engineering, Architecture or Urban Planning related field
