Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Area Sales Manager to join our growing team and will report to the Sales Director.

The ideal candidate will have passion for relationships, sales and negotiations and helping businesses and organization protect themselves from cyber threats.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, he/she will be eager to proactively search for new opportunities and markets (in terms of industries and geographic areas) to develop and grow.

 

For success in the role, the candidate should have a comprehensive view of all aspects that refer to the security domain by combining, in a consultative perspective, cyber services with the client's business vision and needs. Also required is the ability to easily establish trustful relationships and ability to gain insights and ideas through collaboration and communication. Therefore, we are looking for a person with inclination and/or experience in selling technology and digital services, preferably related to Cybersecurity services.

 

Specifically he/she will:

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, target sectors, customer needs and competitors
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to identify new potential customers
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure a thorough understanding of the products and solutions offered
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region and industries of competence
  • Present and promote cybersecurity solutions to potential customers
  • Develop relationships and interact with Key Decision Makers/ C-level
  • Manage business development in conjunction with technology partners
  • Maintain up-to-date information on sales activities using customer relationship management (CRM) tools

  • With the support of marketing/sales tools and events, identify prospect customers
  • Prepare and implement the commercial business plan to achieve the agreed objectives
  • Generate leads and qualify opportunities within the region and industries of competence
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Develop relationships with vendor partners to define solutions in line with customer needs
  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Manage end-to-end opportunities, identifying, creating and shaping offerings bringing them to close, working alongside the company's Management and Delivery team
  • Follow the sales process from identification, qualification, proposal, negotiation to closing deals and contracts while working alongside internally with management, the technical presales and delivery teams and all teams involved in the management and monitoring of customers and orders
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity industry trends and technologies
  • Forecasting and CRM (SalesForce)

 

Qualifications

Skills/qualifications:

  • Min 3-5 years’ experience in Account Management and Sales and preferably Solutions and Services and SaaS sales roles in an ICT company operating in the Cyber Security market for any industry (Health, Financial and Insurance, Food and Agricultural, Fashion and Design, Energy, Utility, Automotive, Manufacturing and Industry 4.0)
  • Experience and knowledge in Cyber Security Technologies, Governance, Risk Management, Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Assessment
  • Strong inclination for hunting for new prospects and deals
  • Expertise in understanding and analysing company processes
  • Aptitude for complex problem solving, ability to excel in challenging situations
  • Passion for cybersecurity and new technologies and their application in corporate settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interface with any level in a Customer’s organization (up to C-level)
  • Ability to analyse and summarise data when reporting findings
  • Ability to work by objectives, define and monitor opportunities using CRM tools, provide forecasts and attend weekly business review meetings
  • Team spirit and ability to work independently
  • Enthusiasm, passion and strong motivation for professional training and growth
  • Proactiveness, flexibility and an ability to adapt to different challenging situations
  • A good knowledge of English
  • Ability to work in international contexts
  • Availability to travel

  • Knowledge of the main technological solutions in the field of Cyber Security
  • Sales/networking experience with SME in Italy
  • Knowledge of national and international security frameworks, standards and regulatory environments in the field of Cyber Security
  • Knowledge of French
