Job Description

Estimator is responsible for managing the estimation process, while maximizing profit, and performing these activities with the available resources within the constraints of time, cost, and performance/technology. Ultimately responsible for all parameters of estimation process. 

Leads the proposal process and defines milestones and requirements for the proposals and estimates. Prepares material and work to be estimated by reviewing past proposals, past projects, specifications, and related documents. Works with engineering proposal team to generate estimates for projects. Works with all business groups to ensure that scope and risk are accounted for in the proposal.

Qualifications

Requirements include:
•Test facility project management experience
•Must understand electrical data acquisition theory and practice
•Computers and electronics and instrumentation knowledge, understanding
•Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Preferred experience includes:
•Working knowledge of various engine and powertrain test cells
•Working knowledge of construction management
•PMP certified
