ADGA is currently recruiting an experienced System Architect to join our growing team!
You will require a background in providing system of systems architect support on Military systems.
You have the opportunity to support the Chief Engineer in the:
- Technical vision and develop comprehensive architectures for Land C4ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance) capabilities.
- Ensure seamless integration of systems, evaluate technical solutions, and provide guidance to address complex system and SoS issues.
- As well as support the operational plan to implement the design.
Specific tasks include:
- Develop and communicate the technical vision for Land C4ISR capabilities;
- Ensure alignment of technical vision with organizational goals and objectives;
- Develop and evaluate technical solutions to address complex LC4ISR system and SoS issues;
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed solutions;
- Analyze and compare alternative technology solutions to meet LC4ISR system and SoS challenges and Provide recommendations based on cost, performance, and scalability;
- Oversee the integration of all aspects of LC4ISR system and SoS solutions and ensure seamless interoperability between subsystems and external systems; and
- Plan and support the execution of SoS level activities to achieve the LC4ISR requirements.
Qualifications
- Will need to hold a valid NATO Secret clearance with PSPC for duration of contract.
- Work is on-site, in Gatineau.
- Must have a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) Bachelor's degree in network, software, computer, systems, electrical or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR)
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a System Architect on Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems.
- Must have 8 years experience in the last 10 years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of IT/IM or Engineering.
- Must have at least 6 years experience in at least 4 of the following tasks:
- communicating information technology frameworks and strategies to management and technical staff.
- communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
- providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
- leading multidisciplinary teams int he development of IT tactical systems, frameworks or strategies.
- performing strategic, operational or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.
