ADGA is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will provide technical support to the Land Command Support System "Mobile Domain" program within this large Defence program.

In this role, you will support various projects, the mobile domain program and tactical communication systems capability delivery efforts which will include integrated logistic support, trials, fielding, and manufacturing support.

The Contractor must provide day-to-day technical support to EMTs (Equipment Management Team) related to project management, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and manufacturing support.

Tasks will include:

  • Draft, review, and provide comments on project documentation including project plans, procurements, systems requirements, architecture, design, development, qualification, production, ISS (In-service Support), and fielding documents.
  • Provide IV&V (Independent Verification & Validation) of other contract deliverables to ensure compliance.
  • Provide IV&V of production lines, processes, and test reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to resolve technical and process issues associated with project manufacturing and production activities.
  • Draft, review, and maintain fielding plans.
  • Draft, review, and maintain trial plans.
  • Configure, integrate, operate, and test equipment and subsystems.
  • Provide systems engineering. integration and testing support.
  • Provide expert assistance in resolving technical impediments preventing achievement of objectives.
  • Draft, review, and provide comments on equipment evaluation plans, test procedures and test scripts.
  • Support project field trials, tests, and assessments.
  • Draft, review, and provide comments on documents and plans associated with project initial operational capability and final operational capability initial cadre training.
  • Draft, review, and provide comments on ILS documents.
  • Participate in project programmatic, engineering and ILS meetings as requested by the Tech OPI.
  • Provide LCMM support for equipment under DLCSPM 3 responsibility; and
  • Maintain status of MD project and technical AIs.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid PSPC Secret level clearance.
  • The Controlled Goods Certificate is a requirement for this government contract.
  • Proof of Engineering Bachelor’s degree in software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Manufacturing Engineer on Military Command and Control systems.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the last 10 years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of info technology, info management or engineering. (system, software, computer, communication, security, or simulation) experience.
  • Must have at least 6 years of experience in at least 4 of the following:
    • Communicating IT frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
    • Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
    • Providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision making of senior management.
    • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks, or strategies.’
    • Performing strategic, operational, or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy. (mandatory for this senior role are #3 and 4)
  • Must have at least 8 years’ experience within the last 10 years in manufacture engineering in at least 4 of the following assessment area’s:
    • Analyzing , designing, and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures as well as designing and developing test systems required for Manufacturing and testing components and systems.
    • System integration, hardware, and software, (COTS and/or custom developed) components into new or existing manufacturing lines.
    • System life cycle management for software and/or hardware intensive systems supporting the manufacturing processes.
    • Experience implementing Manufacturing standards required for PCB and IC production as well as PCB assembly techniques.
    • Experience using the Design for Verification and the Design for Manufacturability framework.
    • Experience providing technical oversight during the manufacturing and delivery phases in the Production.
    • Experience optimizing process flows on the manufacturing line.
    • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and verifying Technical Data Packages (TDP) as well as engineering drawings.
