ADGA is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst to collaborate with clients and the development team to develop, deliver and support high-performing, stable and secure Healthcare Information Systems that our partners rely on to support their critical business activities.

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Evaluate existing business processes to uncover areas for improvement, anticipating requirements, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes.
  • Communicate Lessons Learned arising from evaluation of existing processes and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather information from consultations with various stakeholders and producing reports to show what was derived from these discussions.
  • Collaborate with clients, technicians, and management to develop strategies for moving forward, based on these findings.
  • Collaborate with the Project Executive with the creation of the Business Case.
  • Verify timely completion of project document deliverables for the Healthcare Information Systems projects as required by the Project Management Lifecycle.
  • Be the liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Develop functional and technical requirements and specifications using business process maps, Use Cases, JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions and document outcome, business workflow and organizational models, data definitions and logical data models and/or solution prototypes.

 

Qualifications

The Business Systems Analyst must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to commerce, business administration, information system management, computer science, information technology, engineering, or science from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the last 15 years performing the following tasks:
    • Developing and documenting detailed statements of requirements for the proposed alternative recommended in the preliminary analysis report;
    • Performing business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
    • Defining and documenting interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems; 
    • Identifying the modifications to the automated processes; AND
    • Supporting the use of selected departmental methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with the following technologies:
    • MS Office
    • MS Visio
    • MS Azure DevOps
    • MS Teams
