Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales operations in Ixelles, Belgium. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, build and mentor a high-performing sales team, and establish ACT-ON as a market leader in the region. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving ambitious performance targets.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth across the Belgium market
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management
  • Manage sales budgets and resources effectively to optimize profitability and operational efficiency
  • Oversee the implementation and customization of ACT-ON solutions to meet client requirements
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with organizational objectives
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to drive individual and team development
  • Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities to build brand presence and generate leads

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven sales leadership experience, with demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales environments, preferably in software or technology solutions
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets and sales objectives
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales enablement tools; experience with ACT-ON platform is preferred
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Experience managing P&L responsibilities and sales budgets
  • Knowledge of the Belgium and/or European market is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English is mandatory
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Visionary mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive organizational growth
