Your role

• Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and document software systems, components, and utilities
• Design software solutions that efficiently fit into the existing ecosystem & solve issues that appear in the ticketing system
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Accurately estimate the time required to develop a given feature or project
• Evaluate functionality based on value vs effort scale
• Understand and refine client requirements; suggest the best ways for development
• Propose functionality to enhance the user experience
• Share knowledge with the team, communicate any blocking situations
• Lead code reviews to drive code implementation towards the best results
• Troubleshoot existing code to identify performance bottlenecks

About the project

We are performing the maintenance and light development of a WPF desktop application that supports the business developers and machine technicians of our customer, a world-leading provider of integrated solutions for production in the textile industry. With the use of the application, they are able to fulfill their jobs more easily and efficiently, as they have a better overview of machine inputs & outputs in order to make tailored quotes and orders for customers worldwide. The project facilitates our team's professional development by requiring the application of a stack of technologies and skills to the maintenance and development of the application, while at the same time allowing the honing of critical thinking and systematic approach in a client-facing environment.

Your team

The team consists of 5 colleagues from Accesa and offers our client a variety of roles and skills: frontend and backend development (from junior to lead), QA, and project management. The team started working together about 4 year ago and has grown steadily and in a healthy way.
