About the project

The scope of the project is to provide an end-to-end solution for university management, including the back office for the university’s employees, as well as student and teacher websites, all aimed at running the day-to-day business of the university, and thus offering support for business continuity and removing bottlenecks.

You will be part of a dedicated product team with senior professionals, all capable of contributing not only technically, but also in terms of business and process proposals. The team is dedicated to co-create the product from the ground up, by shaping also the requirements together with the client.

Your team

You will be joining a team currently comprised of 12 members, covering roles such as Software Architect, Tehnical Lead, Software Developers, Testers, Product Owner, UI/UX designer and Project Manager. Being part of this team, you will have a chance to contribute to the development of a product that will be used by different type of users: Students, Teachers, Backoffice users of the University.

Your role

• Design, develop, test, debug, maintain and document software systems, components and utilities
• Deliver a high-quality code ensuring the fulfilment of the requirements, taking into consideration also its performance
• Perform code reviews
• Complete the assigned task within the agreed estimation
• Evaluate, assess, and recommend robust software solutions for assigned tasks
• Propose functionality to enhance the user experience

Collaboration

• Work closely with other Software Engineers, Product Owner, team managers and occasionally the client.
• Mentor colleagues that would benefit from your knowledge
• Respect the agreements set up together with the team and clients
• Communicate periodically the progress of work and provide status updates
• Share knowledge with the team, communicate any blocking situations. Be a team player

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience with .NET / C# (preferably ASP.NET)
• Very good understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
• Experience with data modeling and query optimizations
• Experience with EF Core and SQL Server
• Experience with source control (preferably Git)
• Analytical skills with great attention to detail and a solution-oriented perspective
• Commitment to high quality/error-free deliverables
• Good communication skills in English, both speaking and writing
• Agile mindset combined with a proactive attitude
• Team spirit and easily adaptive into the team
