Senior Business Analyst (all genders)
- Full-time
- Compensation: EUR 70000 - EUR 85000 - yearly
Company Description
SCAYLE is one of the fastest-growing enterprise commerce platforms in the world, enabling brands and retailers to realize their D2C ambitions. SCAYLE stands for innovation, international collaboration, and a strong focus on data. We believe that stepping outside of our comfort zone and making bold decisions is key to growing both professionally and personally. Instead of seeing problems as obstacles, we approach them as opportunities to find better solutions. We work in an environment that encourages flexibility, creativity, and continuous development. What drives us is the shared motivation to make an impact and actively shape the future of eCommerce.
Job Description
The SCAYLE product is highly extensive, and our integration landscape is diverse. As Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will act as the crucial link between our partners, clients, and our internal SCAYLE product development team. In this bridge function, you will serve as the go-to authority for integration projects, leading workshops, defining technical requirements, and finding the best possible solutions using our extensive out-of-the-box functionalities. You will have the opportunity to operate with high autonomy, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive projects end-to-end from initial concept to system configuration.
Act as the SCAYLE Expert and primary functional point of contact for our partners and clients during complex integration projects, while maintaining a direct line to our internal SCAYLE product development team
Lead workshops with partners to analyse business needs, define requirements, and prepare clear, viable solution options
Work in close collaboration with Project Managers and Solution Architects, operating as a cohesive team to ensure successful project delivery
Write detailed concepts and perform hands-on configurations in the SCAYLE backend, ranging from product data modeling to checkout features
Steer projects through the entire lifecycle depending on the current phase, covering requirement analysis, concept design, developer alignment, UAT testing, and Go-live / Hypercare support
Provide expert consulting to partners, assist Account Managers with live support topics, and actively contribute to internal advancement and team meetings
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of work experience and 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role, ideally within an E-Commerce environment
Solid understanding of technical solution-finding with external stakeholders and high technical aptitude (a degree in Business Informatics or a comparable field is preferred, but relevant experience is more important than a degree)
Strong project management and conceptual skills: ability to work independently to guide clients, analyse requirements, and design concepts
Excellent communication skills: able to confidently navigate, manage, and align diverse stakeholder groups within intense workshop and meeting environments
Solution-oriented, creative, and out-of-the-box thinker when tackling tasks and optimising processes
Proactive, self-determined attitude with a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to take ownership
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a nice-to-have asset
