We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Backend PHP Developer (m/f/d) to become part of our Brand and Advertising Tech Team which is part of our BI/CRM Unit onsite in Hamburg or remote within the EU!

Our Brand and Advertising Tech Team develop several applications for internal and external usage. They provide solutions for complex content management, content translation, and dashboards to monitor content quality and performance. Besides that, they provide several applications for our suppliers that enable them to promote their product assortment and content within the About You shops.

What you will do

• Work on high-scalable products with PHP hosted on a cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
• Constantly challenge and expand your knowledge of reliable architecture, programming, and new technologies
• Develop multiple services processing large amounts of data from a wide variety of sources 
• Work with processes that are adapted to the team’s and project’s needs
• Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our ABOUT YOU TECH community

Who you are

• Excellent coding skills in PHP of a minimum of 3 years
• Advanced experience with Laravel and it’s ecosystem
• Advanced SQL knowledge
• Enjoying working with large amounts of data and complex business logic
• Solid background in building scalable products
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL tasks
• Experience with Google Big Query
