Our Sustainability private labels team in Berlin is supporting buying and quality management based on our sustainability- and quality requirements to reach sustainability goals on time. 

As a (Junior) Sustainability Process Manager (m/f/d) Private Labels you will be actively responsible for all processes in sourcing and managing sustainable materials, as well as taking care of sustainable standards and certifications. 

Responsibilities 

• Support in building up the sustainability department to a functional part of private labels to reach sustainability goals 
• Understanding and following up existing KPI’s 
• Actively working parallel on different running projects in field of responsibility 
• Monitoring processes in sourcing and product management 
• Supporting in developing sourcing strategies with buyers and in direction to suppliers, translate outcome to actions and workable measures
• Creating sustainability trainings for buyers and product developers
• Taking care of sustainability centered supplier database
• Prepare and conduct company audits and manage company memberships with various organizations and products seals 
• Follow up on manufacturers social performance and audit updates, taking care of supplier transparency datas 
• Creating, analyzing suppliers questionnaires and collecting datas 
• Close contact and interaction with fashion buyers and other stakeholders
• Managing external international service providers and garment producers 
• Research in market sustainability fashion trends and competitors analysis, identify new opportunities and translate it to proactive actions 
• Coordination of one working student

Requirements

• University degree (or any other comparable education) in Clothing Technology, Fashion Management, or International Business Management with very high interest for sustainability and fashion industry processes
• Experience in buying/sourcing or product management are a plus
• Proficient MS office skills, first experience with basic analytical task in Excel are a plus
• Basic Project Management skills
• Bringing a good vibe, be passionate about what you do, positive mindset
• Being smart, mindset to solve a variety of problems
• High sense of ownership and straight forward
• Strong personality to work in a fast-moving scale-up environment and to adapt quickly on daily challenges and changes 
• Highly motivated, hungry for challenges and given chances for own development, 100% committed, hands-on mentality and pro-activity
• Selforganized and structured approach to given tasks and responsibilities
• Teamplayer,  able to report constructive, solution focused to team lead on a weekly basis
• Analytical skills and pragmatic way of thinking in managing challenges
• First job experiences in Fashion Retail company & sustainability
• Sense for using tools and databases
• Very good English in writing and speaking
