We are looking for a passionate and skilled Technical Analyst Web Tracking to join our Shop Applications Team.

The Shop Applications Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by several million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

To ensure our products are improving and to measure the success of our features, we are working on a sophisticated and convenient tracking setup, which fulfills our needs and the needs of other teams like Online Marketing and Business Intelligence. At the same time, we want a robust tracking setup, which can be easily used by our Developers.

Challenges the team will be working on in the next 12 months:

• Conception, implementation and refactoring of the whole web tracking setup
• Keeping the quality of the data up through Quality Assurance
• Building automated tests for our implementations

What you will do

• Maintain and improve our inhouse tracking SDK in close cooperation with our frontend developers
• Support the  technical setup of our web tracking implementation in our shop applications
• Build an automated testing framework for the tracking pixel setup
• Provide technical support for the implementation of web analytics' projects
• Maintenance and continues improvement of the existing tracking setup
• Conception and configuration of our Google Tag Manager (including custom scripts)
• Clarify tracking requirements with other teams and lead the implementation

Who you are

• Good skills with a Web tracking tool, preferably Google Analytics
• Good knowledge of Google Tag Manager integrations
• Good skills in Web Development and Javascript
• self-initiative and creative at handling complex Problems
• taking responsibility and work in a problem-solving manner

Nice-to-have

• Experience in Data and API-Management
• Experience in TypeScript
