Job Description

To provide specialized electrical artisan skill and knowledge to the shift team, and to support the operations, maintenance of the brewing plant and to perform and assist in problem solving. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence safety, health and environmental legislation and procedures 
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards 
  • Facilitate Sustainable Development initiatives 
  • Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems
  • Plan and prepare the job
  • Carry out repairs / maintenance
  • Operate workshop equipment  
  • Communicate effectively in teams
  • Contribute to self and team development 
  • Backlog
  • Satisfied customers – no rework
  • Identification of unsafe practices 
  • Safety inspections conducted 
  • Safe maintenance practices audited 
  • Adherence to PPE policies
  • Maintenance tools are in good working order 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 
  • Min – Diploma in Electrical  
  • 1 year experience in Electrical artisan work preferably in related industry 
  • Good understanding of Brewing principles and good practice 
  • Analytical problem solver 
  • Deep understanding of maintenance practices 
  • High flexibility
