Job Description
Operate, maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
Comply with safe, health and environmental procedures and legislation
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated devices
Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation/ systems
Plan, and prepare the job
Carry out repairs/ maintenance
Continuously improve (optimise) plant, process equipment and systems
Perform Autonomous maintenance
Prepare for Autonomous maintenance tasks
Conduct autonomous maintenance
Conduct breakdown maintenance tasks
Operate process
Prepare for production
Operate and monitor machines performance
Ensure cleaning of machines
Optimise production performance
Interpret and implement production plan for the shift.
Measure and record performance attributes
Optimise usage of resources
Support the team to improve process quality
Facilitate team problem solving
Ensure startup and shutdown modulation is well implemented
Work in teams
Communicate effectively in teams
Contribute to self and team development
Qualifications
Minimum qualification;
- Higher Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, industrial, production, process)
