SALARY:                        $48,000 to $53,000

Job Description

Position Summary

Provides critical administrative support to Vice President of Finance and Administration and the Director of Administration their various duties involving organizational administration and operations, technology, financial administration and Board relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Administration

  • Serve as primary point for the Department of Finance and Administration contact and liaison with other departments and with external sources
  • Provide high-level support to the Vice President of Finance and Administration and to the Director of Administration by proactively managing internal and external schedules, travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and recording minutes and notes as needed.
  • Responsible for administrative functions, including drafting documents, and developing methods to maintain files and records as assigned. 
  • Support with technology, reservations, etc.

Board

  • Responsible for all Board and Committee meetings including scheduling the meetings, handlining all the logistics, taking notes and recording the minutes, and preparing the Board book.
  • Prepare statistical, financial and administrative reports and presentations for the Board of Trustees, Audit Finance Committee, and/or specific groups as requested.

Finance

  • Prepare expense reports for Vice President of Finance and Administration and for the Director of Administration.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree, or 3 to 5 years of experience supporting Teams and Senior Management in a nonprofit setting.
  • Strong database and proficient Microsoft skills
  • Familiarization with database management
