Job Description

  • Prepares periodic reports regarding the function activities and achievements
  • Participate in periodic meetings with the direct manager to ensure that priorities are clear and the workflow is running smoothly as per agreed plans at the beginning of each year.                                                               
  •  Study project contract documents (schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.)
  •  Prepare the shop drawing for construction projects through Revit.
  • Create and develop the Revit Models for the architectural discipline.
  •  Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting, or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
  • Capable of submitting RFPs to the missing data and the clashes that may occur after coordination.
  •  Review subcontractors' shop drawings and design drawings as well as outsourced drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant
  • Review the BIM model and ensure quality according to the Owner & BIM standards.
  • Review BIM Model using Navisworks and capable submit clash detection report.
  • Coordinate with the Surveying team to provide them with all the information about the land and any site measurements required
  • Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical issues, and other problems that may arise during construction to the direct manager for discussion and provide proper solutions timely
  • Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand them over to the project consultant
  • Prepare sub-contractors periodically, Qs, and invoices and compare them according to the project budget
  • Prepare materials cut-off list, and procurement plan and analyze technical & financial offers
  • Study and review all tender documents received by the business unit including instructions to tenders, contract general and special conditions, specifications, drawings, and preparing BOQ
  • Participate in value engineering workshops
  • Participate in strategy workshops and actively contribute innovative solutions
  •  Support the department's development activities 
  • Prepare and submit Project Documents such as and not limited to IR, MIR, MAR, etc,,,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree of Architecture Engineering years of experience
  • Very Good English & Arabic, other language is an asset
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • Professional knowledge of Construction and finishing methods, and applications
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (MS Office- AutoCAD-Revit  is a must – Navis work is preferred )
