ABC Labs was created in Spring 2020 as a direct response to the coronavirus pandemic. Since then we have performed around 25% of Sweden’s national covid-19 PCR testing.

We believe the pandemic has changed diagnostics and healthcare forever. Looking towards the future, we are investing heavily to create solutions that make testing affordable, accessible, and readily available.

As a Senior Back end Developer, your focus will be backend development in a cross-functional team. You will be working close to our medical lab operations, and key partners to understand the challenges, and design and develop solutions.

You will be working on our innovative event-driven applications and systems that power our labs and enable us to provide services on a national level such as population-based testing programs & early risk identification tools. Another focus area is our sampling flow and the integration engine that powers the APIs that connect us to our partners.

As an experienced software engineer, you can dedicate time to coach and guide junior developers, or to own a focus area where you want to specialize.

Our current tech stacks are based on Ktor/Kotlin and Nest/TypeScript for the back-end and Vue 3 using TypeScript for the front-end. However, we are very open to new ideas and technologies so if you have experience in other technologies we see that as a big bonus.

You like to be given a lot of freedom and appreciate having the responsibility that comes with that. You are not afraid to come up with new solutions, and you think it's cool to fail. You keep up to date with new technologies and you are used to adopting new technologies. What matters for us:

• You have solid experience as a senior back-end developer;
• If you have relevant tech stack experience it is a plus, yet having a curious personality and a constant learning mindset is more important since tech stacks come and go;
• You have experience, or interest to specialize in any of the following:

-Tech leadership

-API development

-Event-driven architecture;

-DevOps/Microservices (Kubernetes, Docker);

-Health care data management: HL7, FHIR.
