About the Role

A & A Customs Broker is looking for an HR Manager to work closely with all levels of the business leading recruitment efforts and designing recruitment policies and processes.

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning and executing the roadmap for the employee experience at A & A. Working closely with Executive leadership, you will own the performance and growth of the HR function specifically.

Qualifications

What kind of experience and demonstrated success will you bring to A & A?

You will have...

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience and at least 2 years in a leadership capacity with direct reports.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and analytics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to consistently produce professional work within tight timelines.
  • Ability to think strategically at an organizational level and to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external experts.
  • Desire and ability to develop and continuously motivate a highly effective and positive team.
  • Ability to synthesize complexity and simplify for different audiences.
  • Growth mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Hands-on, willing to roll up sleeves.

Additional Information

More about this role:

  • Work may require occasional travel and weekend and/or evening work. Must have an active passport/Nexus for entry into the US (Once the Can/US border opens up)
  • A & A's office is based in beautiful Surrey, BC
  • Monday- Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Remote work for the ideal candidate is an option
