What is the job about?

We are looking for Software Engineers to join in the development and maintenance of a company-wide database as well as restful APIs throughout which we expose services to our customers. As part of the quantitative software engineering team, you will develop, test, deploy and maintain the core architecture. You will be working closely together with our quantitative analysts as well as customers to ensure that business requirements are met.

What roles are we filling?

• Zurich: Software Engineer (80-100%)
• Romania: Software Engineer (Full time, remote, contract-based)
• Korea: Software Engineer (Full time, contract based)

Who are you?

• BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems or another related field.
• 3-5 year work or open source project experience
• Proficient in Python and at least one statically typed programming language (Java or C++ preferred)
• Proficient in relational databases (preferably Postgres) and the use of ORMs
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experienced in constructing and deploying restful APIs

• Experienced in building real-world, scalable applications
• Familiar with Cloud Services (preferably AWS)
• You use Git and Docker daily
• You are a team player with a hands-on attitude

What is nice to have?

• DevOps experience including container orchestration
• Experience with Linux and Bash for scripting/task-automation
• Experience in handling large-scale time series data
• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
• Knowledge of statistical and econometric methods for data cleaning
