Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

  • The Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Executive will ultimately be responsible for co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials and components, converting the output of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) into material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed. 
  • Communicating the plan to the different suppliers within the agreed lead times. Be an integral part of a team which optimizes the flow of materials, while considering the plants warehouse capacity and inventory targets in order to eliminate potential disruptions in the storage, storage costs and avoiding material scrap (SLOB - slow moving & Obsolete) for Kitchen 4Ps.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Execute the development, maintenance, communication, and publication of the Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) to ensure that supply plan is met. Maintain Raw Materials and Components inventories within our goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials
  • Ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability, and cost. Ensure that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time to meet plan requirements.
  • Liaises with the suppliers & SCM buyer to clarify potential plan constraints and interfaces between supplier and the key internal stakeholders to ensure issue resolution.
  • Partner with SCM Buyer to drive Supplier performance improvement including quality and OTIF KPI.
  • Communicate where required into the Supply Review Meetings (SRM).
  • Prepare actual allocation report & work with SCM Buyer to explain variance vs plan.
  • Interfaces with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected / defective materials, making the necessary physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure a prompt return of goods or disposal.
  • Liaises with warehouse staff to understand and adhere to space constraints, managing inventory levels within agreed targets.
  • Effectively partner with all internal and external business partners.
  • Focuses and encourages continuous Kaizen of the process supported.

Systems & Tools                
Microsoft Suite (Excel, Querry...), Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs - daily), plus flexibility for department-specific tools.                
Work Setting                
Primary: WOW Center HCMC (Saigon Pearl)                
Secondary: Kitchen 4Ps (Long An)                
Travel Expectations                
Occasionally onsite at Restaurant or Kitchen 4Ps to observe operation issues and run projects                

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education Background                
Graduate with Economics, Supply chain, Foreign Trade Bachelor                 
Preferred: Certificate in Data Analysis , Supply Chain Management                
Language Proficiency                
Required: English – Fluency (spoken & written)         

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum Experience Duration                
1+ years in demand planning or supply chain (Experience in F&B or Retail preferred).                
Relevant Experience                
Required: 1+ years in demand planning or supply chain                
Preferred: Show flexibility and familiarity with fast-paced environment                
Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration                
Required: Experience collaborating with leaders and cross-functional teams to manage shipments/goods delivered on time and implement improvement initiative                
Industry or Domain Expertise                
Required: Experience in service-driven industries.                
Preferred: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
