Job Description

The HR Operations Manager will own the entire employee lifecycle from point of hire. You will act as a business support partner primarily to the various business units to help drive employee engagement, satisfaction and productivity. You will work closely with the company’s PEO to ensure local, state, and federal compliance with respect to all HR matters. Critical to the success of this role will be to develop highly efficient and scalable processes to manage onboarding and payroll processing.

 

Responsibilities

 Manage the day to day PEO relationship to fully leverage their service offerings and act as the main point of contact -- this includes partnering with them to address employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws.

 Manage the full employee lifecycle through company’s HRIS

 Own the processing and coordination of various leaves of absence and coverages such as PFL, FMLA, Workers Comp claims, ST/LT Disability

 Administer the annual and interim employee performance review plan

 Ensure mandatory employee training and promote/support continued employee development

 Oversee new employee onboarding

 Preparation and processing of payroll through online platform

 Review and update employee handbook as necessary

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of HR Generalist/HR Operations experience - Employee Relations, HRIS, Payroll and Compliance experience required

·       Experience working across multiple business units in a fast-paced environment with a quickly growing employee base

·       Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

·       Effectively handles multiple priorities and manages time efficiently
