Job Description

As we grow rapidly, we're seeking an experienced Clinical Ultrasound Applications Specialist to cover the Western US.



  • At least 5 years of experience within a top medical device company, in an Applications Specialist, Clinical (Sales) Specialist, Research Sonographer, Clinical Collaborations Manager, Clinical Education Manager or Clinical Product Manager role, with a particular focus on point of care ultrasound.
  • Contribute to the definition, design, and refinement of products and services to address customer/market needs 
  • Develop (clinical) competition intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and selling advantages (Value Proposition story) 

  • Plan, conduct and report customer related application projects

  • Communicate customer feedback to product teams, transfer (clinical) expertise into product roadmap definition

  • Establish and maintain close contacts and collaboration with external KOL's and researchers (directly and through sales organization) to build a network of high profile customers by supporting development activities and building reference sites.

  • Participate in medical consultant meetings to build product roadmap and provide input to product marketing and engineering.

  •  Provide product support to sales, marketing, and engineering teams • Assist with customer engagements, focus groups, and other market activities to assist in the collection, definition, and validation of market needs and requirements

  • Identify clinical trends in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) • Support clinical optimization, evaluation of new software, options, and systems prior to release

  • Support clinical aspects of product documentation pre and post-launch (e.g. user manual)

  • Support and participate in the development of high-quality clinical marketing Images

  • Support clinical aspects of marketing activities to promote products throughout all phases of the product lifecycle
