Business Development Director

Job Description

We are looking for a professional consultative seller, with strong Business Development and Account Management skills for a global public policy consultancy who lead countries to fair tech. They have 6 offices around the globe and are growing. They have clients that span from satellite companies to telecom giants, from disruptive start-ups to major Internet brands to data analytic firms.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. 
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives in conjunction with the marketing team. 
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. 
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. help increase the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals. 
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales. 
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. 
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients. 
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met. 
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills. 

Required: 

  • 7+ years of demonstrable consultative sales success in a relevant business development manager role 
  • Significant understanding and fluency in emerging technology, global regulatory trends, foreign policy, and politics. 
  • Must have experience in public policy
  • Work history in a management consultancy, tech company, law firm, regulatory agency, legislative body
