Summary of Job Duties – Scientific Technician/Technologist (Engineering) Positions
Employees in these positions work in direct support of qualified manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering professionals involved in the design, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of cabinet-manufacturing processes. Duties may include applying engineering principles to interpret drawings, tolerances, equipment specifications, tooling requirements, process parameters, and approved work instructions; conducting process trials and technical evaluations; collecting and analyzing dimensional, cycle-time, defect, and equipment-performance data; investigating process deviations and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions; and preparing technical records and reporting results to the supporting engineering professional.
Depending on the specific position, employees may operate and support CNC machines, BHX automated machining systems, circular saw systems, front-load saw systems, manufacturing equipment, and production quality systems. Responsibilities may include machine setup and operation, program and tooling verification, loading and unloading materials, monitoring equipment performance and production flow, performing first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections, verifying dimensional accuracy, identifying defects or equipment issues, maintaining technical and production records, notifying maintenance or supervisors when necessary, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

- JOB TYPE: Full Time
- WAGE PER HOUR: $23 to $27 based on posiAon, experience, skills and will be assigned by the employer, once a positionon is offered.
- OVER TIME: 10-30 hours if there are open projects that need it
- WORKWEEK: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime as needed.
- PAYMENT DAYS: Currently weekly on Fridays. EffecTve 1/1/2027, this will change to bi-weekly pay every other Friday.

- PAID FLIGHT TO BUSINESS LOCATION: Company can book flight or We will reimburse, all document for flight must be turned in for reimbursement
- AIRPORT OF ARRIVAL: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
- TRAVEL FOOD EXPENSE COVERED?: Employer will cover, a one time and only for the day of the travel from place of recruitment, a travel food expense of $30.00 a day must turn in receipts
- GROCERY STIPEND: We will give a one time $100 dollar for food

- TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM WORKSITE: Not provided by the employer.

HOUSING
- HOUSING TYPE: The employer will pay 100% of the cost of an individual hotel room for the employee's first week ager the initial move. This may be extended up to two weeks with approval. Ager employer-provided housing ends, the employee must secure and pay for rental housing.

- HOW LONG HOUSING IS PROVIDED? One week, extendable up to two weeks with approval.
