As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of cutting-edge dynamometer systems. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess the necessary technical expertise, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview: As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning and troubleshooting of our advanced dynamometer systems. Reporting into our Metro-Detroit office, you will have the opportunity to travel extensively, visiting client sites across the United States as well as internationally. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who enjoys working independently, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site commissioning and testing of dynamometer systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, utilizing your strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance.
  • Perform system upgrades, installations, and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to clients, ensuring they can effectively utilize our products.
  • Document all activities, including test procedures, findings, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of engine behavior and performance characteristics.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service, preferably in a related industry.
  • Background in test engineering is highly desirable and considered a strong fit for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients professionally.
  • Willingness to travel over 60% of the time, visiting client sites throughout the United States as well as internationally.
