To enable such delivery model, 3H Partners has been developing a Strategy Activation Software Platform, which enables clients to put in practice the most relevant Academic theories and frameworks, via interactive digital workflows and input-output models.

3H Partners is now looking to hire a Applied Management Science Researcher (PhD) to support the team leading the R&D effort, and in particular the software development unit.

The role will report directly into the R&D unit and senior management.

Job Description

  • Curate a systematic process of review and codification of the most relevant academic academic knowledge and research in the fields of strategic management and Innovation
  • Translate such academic knowledge into a variety of formats including media contents for training and coaching purposes
  • Convert selected academic theories and frameworks in the fields of Strategy and Innovation into executable input-output models to feed our Software Development process
  • Design and build prototypes or MVP (Minimum Viable Products),  of such input-output models, to allow testing before the software development
  • Liaise with the Software Development unit throughout the entire development process Manage the internal knowledge platform
  • Lead the production of high-quality research reports and/or publications
  • Analyse data produced by the delivery of our Strategy Activation programmes and convert them into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Liaise with the Corporate Consulting unit to gather insights originated from the delivery of Client projects and embed them into the R&D process

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a PhD programme in Business Strategy/Strategic Management from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record
  • Relevant publications in the field of Strategy, peer reviewed not essential, but in key practitioners’ journals (e.g., HBR, Sloan, etc.)
  • Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in past positions
  • Excellent research skills including the ability to orchestrate complex projects from beginning to end
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, quantitative, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of data requirements as well as creativity in finding sources of such data (and/or ways to create it)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at all levels in an organisation
  • Avid reader of Business Strategy and Management books
  • Proficiency in Excel and VBA
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical tools (R, SPSS or/and Python) is a plus
  • Basic skills of game design
  • Understanding of UX (e.g., create wireframes, and screen flows that increase user engagement)
  • Ability to perform in high pressure situation
  • Fluency in English (Italian and/or French is a plus)
