The company headquartered in Belgium with branches in the US and Romania. We are market leaders in developing and building downstream equipment for automation in the plastic bottle blow molding industry.

The US branch serves the US, Canadian and Mexican market and for this purpose we are looking for a motivated engineer to help grow the company in the US. He will work in a small team to create custom solutions for customer specific needs. The job will be customer oriented and project driven, thus demanding both flexibility and communication skills.

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Develop/design new machines and solutions addressing customer’s needs in automation and quality control for blow moulding lines
  • Analyse existing production specifications and calculate future needs and capacities
  • Using CAD software prepare the lay outs for new lines and for modifications of the existing ones
  • Train the customer’s maintenance and production teams regarding the operation of some of the machines
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain customers how the machines and the production lines work
  • Work with customers and engineers to ensure that the equipment meets the costumers’ requirements.
  • Recommend new and improved products to customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
  • Calculate, prepare and send quotations for new lines and for modifications of the existing ones
  • Prospect for customers in Central America and the northern countries of South America. offer

  • Starting Salary: $70,000-$90,000 USD depending on experienceand a bonus depending on sales.
  • Hours Per Week: 40
  • Overtime: No, It will be a salary position How many OT hours on average can they expect per week? In a customer site it could be more, but it is project specific.
  • Workweek: Monday to Friday, from 8am-12pm, and from 1pm-5pm
  • Shifts: No shifts
  • Weekends: In exceptional cases, but normally not. Those days will be returned and there is an extra per diem
  • Payment Days: 15th and end of the month

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills

  • Good knowledge and understanding of automation
  • Good marketing skills and business sense
  • Good software skills (MS Office…); experience with AutoCAD is an advantage

  • Health Insurance: We give a health insurance allowance of $375, that it is tax free if he/she has prove that pays a health insurance. It is paid once a month in the payroll at the end of the month. It will be included as soon as he starts working but it will prorated according to the start day.
  • Paid vacation: 10 paid vacation days and 5 sick days. We can agree to additional unpaid vacation days, but it will be agreed with the company. The employee will receive the prorated vacation days till the end of the year and they can use them whenever they want.

TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES TO PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Paid flight to Business Location: Employer will pay upfront the cost of the flight from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.
  • Arrival airport: Atlanta
  • Paid Flight Home: Employer will cover flight back, at the end of the I-94/Visa period. Ideally 3-4 years.
  • Travel Food Expense Covered? We will cover food expenses while travelling
  • Meal upon arrival: Employer will provide with a welcome meal upon arrival.

WORKPLACE TRANSPORTATION

  • Transportation to and from Worksite? Employer will provide a rental car 2 months and the employee will have to contribute to part of the expense.

HOUSING

  • Housing options: Housing type to be determined. Employer will secure/provide housing for 2 months, the employee with chip in with the cost. At the end of this period, employees must have secured their own housing. Employers will assist by providing contact with realtors.
  • Housing Type Available: Employer will provide housing for two months and the employee will have to contribute to part of the expense.

  • Discipline: If the employee stops being a worker of Delta Engineering, then must vacate the housing within 48 hours. The above terms will be honored by Delta Engineering, for a period of 2 months. If there are behavior problems or property damage, the employee will be asked to vacate immediately.
