Required Skills:

: Data Design & Modeling

o Clear understanding of key concepts of Data Architecture and Database management systems (DBMS).

o Expert skills in schema design, relational and dimensional modeling (conceptual, logical and physical data models).

o Expert knowledge of SQL.

o Expertise in Data Warehousing theory (both Kimball and Inmon approaches).

o Experience with high-scale or distributed RDBMS (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, Aster Data, Vertica) or other physical relational databases (Oracle, MySql, etc.).

o Exposure to one or more physical NoSQL databases, (MongoDB, DynamoDb, etc.).

o Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts.

o Experience with a Metadata Repository and Business Glossary used to improve data standards and provide quick and easy access to data lineage.
