This role requires a combined skill of 60% into Business Analysis, Coordination with Senior Business Managers and 40% into Data Analysis. 

Contract: 6 months (subject to extension up to 18 months) 
Location: San Leandro CA 

Scope and qualifications: 
1. Ability to communicate well with various business partners, conducts meetings with Senior Managers and coordination on various data management foundation topics. 
2. Study the current state of the data processes, issues and business processes, and able to prepare the target state data management platform, perform gap analysis to design and plan the roadmap. 
3. individual will be responsible to perform the analysis, insights and data quality strategies; provide leadership in developing and ensuring adherence to a data integrity governance framework.
4. Total of 10+ years of experience in IT of business and data analysis , data management with 5+ years of experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases in writing complex SQL queries. 10+ years database design and administration experience. 
5. Lead data issues related technical discussion with SMEs. Ability to understand data models and understand various data/process flows of SORs, data marts etc. 
6. BRD creation, Data mapping, Design document creation, and UAT testing, and documentation
Job Responsibility: 
• This primarily supports data governance and integrity issues, Data Quality rules. 
• Act as a SME for data governance practices, influence business partners with standards and procedures, 
• Evaluates and designs data mapping logic to support governance and overall data quality management goals, manage delivery. 
• Work with our internal customers to understand, analyze and document business requirements. 
• Ability to write BRDs to transform complex data issues as exceptions 
• Support internal customers in resolving application issues, assessing user needs, providing training and recommending system changes. 
• May oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements. 
• Ability to engage the SMEs to understand the processes, apply data profiling insights and able to design rules logic by aggregating the information.

• Experience using MS Excel and SQL Server as a tool for data analysis 
• Strong analytical skills, ability to understand data model ER diagrams and design solutions to fix data issues 
• Excellent data interpretation and presentation skills 
• Self-motivated and Good leadership skills 
• Prior experience in bank and working knowledge of data governance and remediation will be a plus

Provides the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's databases ma. Handles and leads the most complex or critical data management and governance initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for data quality, data lineage design-integration, and/or conducting training of business partners. As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies. Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. May represent the organization as an external spokesperson
