Position Description 

5 years technical consultant in support of ETL development in support of data warehouse. 

Experience in data requirements analysis, data profiling, and develop source to target mappings. 

Design and development of ETL Datastage jobs for handling enterprise inbound/outbound data and handling heterogeneous inputs. 

Data profiling activities to validate and confirm on expected transformation rules   

Skills Required  

Expertise in ETL architecture design and experience in job design, optimization, scheduling, containers, job sequences, configurations, and transformer stages, involving data quality, testing and information delivery and access to the data warehouse.   

Skills Preferred 

Data profiling, data model design, review, ETL jobs design using DataStage.

Experience in design data conversions, creating/validating data conversion rules.   

Experience Required 

5 years expertise in Teradata and Data Stage. 5 years writing SQL queries and stored procedures. 

5 years of design and development of ETL Datastage jobs for handling enterprise inbound/outbound data and handling heterogeneous inputs. 

Data profiling activities to validate and confirm on expected transformation rules. Writing shell scripting for various ETL needs and automation. 

Development of Source to Target Mapping Specifications, and supporting data modeling efforts. Expertise in building Teradata BTEQ scripts and utilizing Teradata utilities such as TPT, fast load, fast export, MLOAD to meet various business requirements   

Experience Preferred  

Data Base administration, data architect, and performance tuning. Interactions with project stake holders for design, business transformation rules and System testing/UAT activities. Good working knowledge of Waterfall & Agile Development Methodologies.   

Education Preferred
