Political Organizer

  • Part-time

Company Description

350 Wisconsin Action is a 501(c)4 issue advocacy organization, started in early 2022.  It was established by 350 Wisconsin, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been engaged in the fight against climate change since 2012.

350 Wisconsin Action is committed to climate justice, the transition to clean, renewable energy, stopping oil pipelines in Wisconsin and surrounding states, and pushing financial institutions to divest from fossil fuel-related companies.  We carry out major campaigns to elect climate champions to public office.  We also advocate for strong state and local climate policy in Wisconsin.

Our 2022 midterm election campaign involved over 100 volunteers engaged in diverse activities including phone banking, door-to-door canvassing, postcard writing, letters to the editor, campus events, website development and social media posting.  We promoted our endorsed candidates while reaching out to voters about the importance of the election for climate change.
