Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a point of contact for the organization including but not limited to:

    • Field and respond appropriately to incoming emails, letters, phone calls, answering when possible and routing to other staff when necessary. 

    • Receive staff requests and redirect them to the appropriate individuals

    • Oversee general calendar and inventory management

  • Take complete data management responsibilities in the organization including, but not limited to

    • Support organizing staff by pulling lists, reports and data as needed

    • Develop and maintain expertise in Salsa (CRM) and Google Suites, and answer questions from staff and volunteers about functionality

    • Conduct Salsa or Google training for staff and volunteers as required

    • Track grant application process, deadlines and communications from funders, in collaboration with the organization's Development Director

    • Track grant reporting process and deadlines including collecting program and accounting data from relevant staff 

  • Other internal responsibilities

    • Work with staff and key volunteer leaders to assist with the health and productive internal functioning of the organization

    • Other duties as assigned.

Employment Details

  • This is a 50% position, working 20 hours per week.  Work schedule is flexible, some weekend and evening work required.

  • Pay: $21 per hour

  • Health Care benefits included

  • Funding for this position is secure for one year

  • Reports to the Executive Director and Business Manager

  • 350 Wisconsin staff and volunteers are primarily located in the Madison, WI area.  The position will work remotely and access to a computer and the Internet is needed. Occasional face-to-face meetings and outreach will be likely.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience (in a paid, educational or volunteer role)

  • Experience working remotely

  • Proficient in Google Suites

  • Previous experience with a CRM database or the demonstrated ability to learn new technologies

  • Must have access to the internet and a computer

Additional Information

Work Environment 

350 Wisconsin operates virtually, without a brick and mortar office. Most, but not all, members of the staff, board, and volunteers live in the greater Madison Wisconsin area. The position may require travel within Wisconsin for organizing meetings, events, political activities, training, one-to-one meetings, and other functions.

Physical Demands

Occasional physical demands include setting up for events, working on mailings, tabling at outreach events and filing. This would require the ability to carry 25 lbs; lift files; use hands to fold, stuff, seal, and stamp envelopes; open filing cabinets; and bend or stand as necessary. The physical demands also include driving.
