The Coordinator, Transport and Logistics, is responsible for overseeing the entire process of transportation and flow of goods, ensuring effective communication between points of origin and destination, including stores and end consumers. 

• Supervising transport coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of online and physical stores on a daily basis. 

• Ensuring timely deliveries and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs). 

• Preparing internal communications and presentations related to KPIs and new programs, such as import, export, and transportation operations. 

• Identifying areas for improvement and profitability, then develops action plans. 

• Monitoring compliance with standards and making sure that all team transactions are in line with company compliance policies and Canadian regulations. 

• Analyzing and resolving daily operational issues. 

• Managing the department's budget, profit and loss account. 

• Negotiating with suppliers to optimize costs. 

• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. 

• Ensuring smooth communication between stores, departments, and suppliers.

• 3 year+s of experience in a similar position in the retail - logistics sector.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a constantly evolving environment. 

• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. 

• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel and pivot tables. 

• Previous experience with CBSA and compliance teams. 

• Experience working with transport companies and couriers in Canada, as well as iin importing textile air freight. 

• Proficiency in English (mandatory) and in Spanish (a great asset)
