Our client is a large private practice clinic founded in 2009. Most of their therapists have been involved in hospital-based practice and have received in-depth training in the delivery of evidence-based treatments. Their goal is to meet the needs of their clients by offering individual, group and home- and community-based services. Research and best-practice guidelines inform their decisions about treatment. Our client also aims to provide structured opportunities for professional development, supervision, and evaluation research. In order to achieve these goals, they have developed strong ties to academic and hospital-based institutions and other mental health providers in the community. As such, they are actively involved in providing consulting services to public and private sector organizations.
Job Description
Our client is looking for full time Psychotherapists to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy services to individuals experiencing a variety of mental health difficulties (e.g., mood and anxiety problems, life stressors, emotion dysregulation, addiction, etc.). The successful applicants will work in collaboration with other health professionals. **Expertise in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use, autism spectrum disorder, borderline personality disorder, or couples would be an asset for this position, as would be expertise in working with children/adolescents and seniors.**
This is a hybrid position (teletherapy and in-person). Applicants must provide their own laptop/computer and internet when working remotely.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Practicing member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Masters Degree
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Training and experience in CBT
- Ability to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in French

Rate:
- $95 (junior clinician); $105 (senior clinician)
- Rates are calculated per client contact (e.g., 50-minute session + 10 minutes for preparation and progress note)
- Clinicians are expected to provide 18-22 client-contact hours per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Some late afternoons/early evenings (if involved in group therapy)
- No weekends
