The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the oversight and successful completion of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The PM will provide solutions to the client while working with diverse and potentially remote project teams. The PM oversees all project phases and is responsible for project performance by effectively managing project constraints, including scope, timeline, and budget. The PM will report status updates to the US teams daily and conduct a retrospective at the close of the project to demonstrate potential process improvements and clearly outline constraint metrics. The PM will also collaborate with the client team and act as a liaison to ensure timely communication between various stakeholders and maximize efficiencies.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Own end-to-end responsibility for project management life cycle from kickoff through project normalization; proactively manage issues and risks.
• Working with client team during requirements gathering, project discovery, and coordinating efforts between client teams & US based internal teams
• Responsible for deliverables/handoffs to Customers, domain resource/schedule plans.
• Lead project implementation through SOW, Planning to Production, and post-production support
• Use PM tools to coordinate efforts between various internal & partner teams and ensure timely deliverables, track project workflows, maintain project status, and mitigate risks
• Report directly to US-based executive team

Must-have requirements:

• Lives in Budapest, Hungary region
• Fluent in English & Hungarian (Written & Verbal)

Desired Qualifications
Education/Qualifications:

• BS/MS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of recent Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of complex software engineering projects and releasing commercial products.
• Working Knowledge of Software concepts & terminology
• Technical experience in the areas of networking, security, and Cloud technologies would be a big plus
• Experience with managing client relations
• Experience using MS Office Suite, Jira, BaseCamp, and other similar PM tools

• 5+ years successfully delivering technology products & solutions from concept through launch
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud, Agile methodologies
• Solid communications skills to collaborate within multiple cross-functional teams
